About Us
Who Are We?
Wellesley Cares is a non-profit organization that focuses on the distribution of used instruments to kids and schools that may not have the funding to support music programs and classes. It is important to us that every kid out there gets the opportunity to try making their own music. With a system that relies on communication, we hope that with your help, we will be able to get these instruments in good shape and give them to kids in need in New England.
Additionally, we offer free music classes and STEM courses to further help cultivate these passions.
What about our classes?
At Wellesley Cares, we hope to be a platform for a series of necessities that become apparent at a time like this. With that in mind, we offer free online classes through Zoom, where a set of volunteers, ranging from high school to college students, will get the opportunity to teach your kids about all different sorts of passions. These classes, although free, will be chock-full of information and can be an outlet where your child can learn on their own accord.
